What is Love Louisville Day?
Love Louisville Day is a one-day event doing simple acts of kindness to show God’s love with no strings attached. It is many churches all over the city meeting together on a Saturday morning to do a free carwash, hand out free cokes, pick up garbage, clean restrooms of small businesses, give out free hot dogs, or visit the sick at hospitals and senior’s homes, etc.
Picture this – a kindness explosion!
Imagine someone driving down a street in our city on a Saturday morning and they receive a free Coke from people wearing Love Louisville T-shirts at a busy intersection, they get their car washed by more people wearing Love Louisville T-shirts conducting a free car wash, they stop to get gas and a group of people wearing Love Louisville T-shirts offer to wash their windshield for free, while handing them a $2.00 bill to help pay for the gas, and on the way home they see even more people wearing Love Louisville T-shirts picking up garbage in the neighbor’s yard. All just to show God’s love – no strings attached.
